ChurchWelcome to the new Parish Council Website which we hope will be a source of interest and information for residents of the village and beyond.

The village of Baltonsborough [pop. around 1000] lies some 4 miles S.E of Glastonbury with spendid views towards the Tor and the Mendip Hills and is bounded on the S.W. by the River Brue. At the heart of the village it is served by the post office shop, public house and village hall. Surrounding the village are farms concentrating on dairy farming.

The Parish Council meets regularly on the first Thursday of each month and there is an opportunity early on in the meeting for parishioners to speak about any item on the agenda, matter or concern that comes within the remit of the council.
